David Mc Caul, ENT Consultant, Clinical Director of Cancer Services
David Mc Caul has a consultant post in the Southern trust providing
a full range of both adult and children’s otolaryngology services.
Mr McCaul is a member of the regional Head and neck Multi-disciplinary team meeting held in Belfast
every Monday .He is also involved in thyroid Multi-disciplinary team meeting as well as the Skin Multi-
disciplinary meeting.
David McCaul is currently Clinical Director of cancer services for the Southern Trust.
Mr McCaul is fully trained in all aspects of Ear, Nose and Throat surgery with extensive experience both
in children’s and adult ENT disease. His subspecialist interests are thyroid, salivary gland, voice,
pediatric, snoring and sinus surgery.
Insurers/Cost
Mr McCaul is covered by all Major insurers. Insured patients are billed according to scheme maxima.
Clinic facilities may attract a supplementary fee for nasal endoscopy, flexible laryngoscopy, debridement of ears, oto-endoscopy, pure tone audiometry, tympanometry, skin prick tests and olfaction testing. The price for new and review self-payer appointments is 160 and 120 pounds respectively.
